Operation Pets, Inc. (OPI) is a non-profit organization with a mission of helping communities stabilize unwanted pet populations. We offer high quality, low cost spay and neuter services for dogs and cats, both companion and feral, in Rapid City South Dakota.
Do I Qualify for Services?
Operation Pets, Inc. strives to make spay/neuter affordable for all residents of the Black Hills. Low-income pet parents qualify with proof of public assistance such as welfare, Medicaid, Medicare, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), disability, food stamps, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) or public housing qualify for heavily discounted spay/neuter services for their cat or dog.
If you are a care taker of barn cats or feral colonies, you do not need to be on any public assistance to qualify.
We also accept hardship cases on a case by case basis to be determined by the Board of Directors.
